The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support (including occupational therapy services) for Australians with disability, their families and their carers. People under the age of 65 years with a permanent and significant disability are eligible for the scheme.

The WA NDIS will be officially rolled out across the state from 1 July 2017 over a period of three years.
